The Idle Stop and Go (ISG) system reduces fuel consumption by automatically shutting down the engine when the vehicle is at a standstill. (For example: red light, stop sign and traffic jam)

The engine restarts automatically as soon as the starting conditions are met.

The ISG is ON whenever the engine is running.

• Manual Transmission

  • STOP

  When the vehicle is temporarily stopped at a red light or brought to a standstill, release the clutch pedal in N (Neutral) position and the engine will shut down automatically.

  

  • START

  When the vehicle needs to move forward, press the clutch pedal and shift the gear. The engine will automatically turn on again.

  

• Automatic Transmission/Dual Clutch Transmission/Intelligent Manual Transmission

  • STOP

  When the vehicle is temporarily stopped at a red light or brought to a standstill, depress the brake pedal and the engine will turn off automatically.

  

  • START

  When the vehicle needs to move forward, release the brake pedal and the engine will automatically turn on again.
