Simple operation

  • Insert a small flat-blade tool (such as a screwdriver) into the emergency door lock hole and turn it counter clock-wise to the lock position.

Operation

  1. Open the door.

  2. Insert a long, flat object such as a key.

  3. Turn the key counter clock-wise to the lock position.

  4. Close the door securely.

Operating condition(s)

  • The power door lock switch is not operating.

NOTE

If the electrical power door lock switch is not operating (ex. dead car battery) and the trunk is closed, you will not be able to open the trunk until power is restored.
