    • The headlamps and tail lamps will turn ON or OFF automatically depending on the external ambient light level.

Simple operation

  • Turn the switch to the dedicated position.

Operation

  • Turn the switch to the dedicated position.

CAUTION

  • Never place anything over the sensor located on the instrument cluster as this will ensure better auto-light system control.

  • Don't clean the sensor using a window cleaner, the cleaner may leave a light film which could interfere with sensor operation.

  • If your vehicle has window tint or other types of metallic coating on the front windshield, the Auto light system may not work properly.

NOTE

  • The EV button is in POWER ON or DRIVE READY to turn on the headlights.

  • For Europe

    • Even when the light switch is in the OFF position, the headlights (low beam) automatically turn on when driving at night or in low ambient light. These headlights cannot be turned off manually while driving.

    • The position lamps and tail lamps automatically turn on regardless of the light switch position. However, they can be turned off when the vehicle is in P (Park) or the parking brake is engaged, and the light switch is set to the OFF position.
