Removing/reinstalling headrest

*Before adjusting the headrest, check the lever position for your seat type.

Operation

To remove the headrest:

  1. Recline the seatback with the recline lever or switch.

  2. Push and hold the release button (1). Raise headrest as far as it can go.

  3. Insert a short, flat object (such as a small flat-head screwdriver) into the opening on the inside base of the left post and pull the headrest upward.

To reinstall the headrest:

  1. Put the headrest poles into the holes while pressing the release button (1).

  2. Recline the seatback with the recline lever or switch.

  3. Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height.

WARNING

  • NEVER allow anyone to ride in a seat with the headrest removed.

WARNING

  • Always make sure the headrest locks into position after reinstalling and adjusting it properly.
