Hands-off warning
If the driver takes their hands off the steering wheel for several seconds, the warning message will appear and an audible warning will sound in stages.

First stage: Warning message
Warning message: Keep hands on steering wheel

Second stage: Warning message (red steering wheel) and audible warning
Warning message: HDA (Highway Driving Assist) system. cancelled
If the driver still does not have their hands on the steering wheel after the hands-off warning, the warning message will appear and Highway Driving Assist will be automatically cancelled.

When 'Emergency Stop (ES)' is equipped, the emergency stop function will activate if you do not continue to hold the steering wheel. For more information, refer to the LCD display modes

If the emergency stop is released after stopping due to an emergency stop, the vehicle must be restarted to operate Highway Driving Assist again.

If the in-cabin camera is equipped and the driver’s condition cannot be detected, operation of Highway Driving Assist is limited.
