The immobiliser system is a vehicle anti-theft system that can start the vehicle only with the registered key. The vehicle will start only when the password in the vehicle and the password in the key match, so if you use a duplicate key, the vehicle will not start.

The immobiliser system checks, determines, and verifies the key whenever the vehicle is in the DRIVE READY position.

Whenever the EV button is changed to the DRIVE READY position, the immobiliser system checks and verifies if the key is valid or not.

If the key is valid, the vehicle will start.

If the key is invalid, the vehicle will not start.
