i-Pedal
i-Pedal is controlled by acceleration pedal. It provides vehicle speed control without manually controlling the paddle shifter.

-
On the home screen of the infotainment system,
allows you to choose whether to use i-PEDAL when reversing. -
If you select do not use i-Pedal when reversing, shifting to R (Reverse) whilst using i-Pedal will turn off the i-Pedal function, then shifting to D (Drive) and automatically turning on the i-Pedal function when driving above 20 km/h (12 mph).
-
If disable i-Pedal when reversing is unchecked, the i-Pedal function is automatically turned on by shifting D (Drive) or R (Reverse).
Operation
-
Pulling the left paddle shift lever for approximately 1 second during all regenerative braking steps will turn on the i-Pedal function and the i-Pedal statement will be displayed in the cluster.
-
If the i-Pedal function is turned on and the left paddle shift lever is pulled for approximately 1 second, the i-PEDAL function is turned off and the i-Pedal statement disappears in the cluster.
-
Check i-Pedal indicator symbol i-Pedal on the instrument cluster.
-
Non-operating condition(s)
-
A road with a steep uphill or downhill slope
-
The point at which the slope ends
-
When starting and stopping repeatedly on an inclined road
-
When the DBC (Driving Downhill) function is operating
-
Do not solely rely on one pedal driving to stop the vehicle. Stopping the vehicle may not be possible depending on vehicle and road conditions. Pay attention to the road condition ahead and apply the brake if necessary.
-
Avoid increasing the regenerative braking level suddenly on slippery roads (like snow or icy conditions) because it may lead slipping of the tyres and skidding of vehicle. It can be dangerous due to the loss of the vehicle's steering force.
When the vehicle is stopped or parked by i-Pedal on the steep hills, be sure to depress the brake pedal.
When the deceleration rate, the vehicle’s level of deceleration, reaches a certain level whilst the i-Pedal function is on, brake lights may turn on without depressing the brake pedal.
