Opening the hood

  1. Pull the release lever to unlatch the hood. The hood should slightly pop open.

    Park on a flat surface. Set the gear to P (Park) and set the parking brake.

  2. Go to the front of the vehicle, raise the hood slightly, push the secondary hood release lever (1) upside and lift the hood (2).
