If the vehicle is stopped due to emergency braking, a warning message will appear on the cluster.

For your safety, the driver should depress the brake pedal immediately and check the surroundings.

  • Brake control will end after the vehicle is stopped by emergency braking for approximately 2 seconds.

NOTE

When turning right at an intersection, braking may be assisted to reduce or avoid collisions if there is a collision risk with a cyclist approaching at the speed of 10 to 20 km/h (6 to 12 mph) from the opposite side.
