Turning Lane Following Assist ON or OFF

To turn Lane Following Assist ON, briefly press the Lane Following Assist button on the steering wheel while the vehicle is ON. The gray or green () indicator light appears on the instrument cluster.

To turn Lane Following Assist OFF, press the Lane Following Assist button again.

NOTE

  • If the driver unfastens the seat belt while driving at speeds of 20 km/h (12 mph) or higher, Lane Following Assist will turn off.

  • Lane Following Assist cannot be activated if the driver is not wearing a seat belt.

  • If the Emergency Stop function is applied, refer to Emergency Stop (ES) for the operating limitations of Lane Keeping Assist.
