Surround View Monitor settings

Warning Methods

You can adjust the Warning Methods with the ignition switch or ENGINE START/ STOP button in the ON position.

  • Parking Safety Priority : Select 'Settings → Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Warning Methods → Parking Safety Priority’ on the Infotainment system for safe parking. For safe parking, the audio volume will temporarily decrease while Surround View Monitor is operating.

NOTICE
  • Ensure that warning sound you have set may apply to the warning volume of other driver assistance systems.

  • Warning Methods will maintain its last setting even if the vehicle is restarted.

  • If not equipped with the navigation system, select User settingsDriver assistance to adjust the Warning Volume.

  • The setting menu may not be available for your vehicle depending on the vehicle features and specifications.

  • Descriptions of each driver assistance system may be slightly different from the owner's manual after updating the software of your infotainment system. In this case, scan the QR code in the infotainment system manual to access the web manual for checking the changes.

  • Depending on your region or update, the menu may be displayed as Warning Sound or Warning Methods.

Camera settings

  • You can change Surround View Monitor 'Display Contents' or 'Display Settings' by touching the setup icon () on the screen while Surround View Monitor is operating, or selecting 'Driver Assistance → Parking Safety → Camera Settings' from the Settings menu while the engine is on.

  • In the Display Contents, you can change settings for 'Top View Parking Guide Lines', 'Rear View Parking Guide Lines' and 'Parking Distance Warning'.

Top View Parking Guide Lines

Front top view
Rear top view

If 'Top View Parking Guide Lines' is selected, the Top View Parking Guide Lines are displayed on the top view in the right side of the surround view monitor screen when the front top view or rear top view is activated.

NOTICE

The horizontal ticks of the Rear Top View Parking Guide Lines shows 0.3 m (1 ft.) and 2 m (6.6 ft.) from the vehicle.

Rear View Parking Guide Lines

If 'Rear View Parking Guide Lines' is selected, the rear view parking guide lines are displayed in the rear view.

NOTICE

The horizontal line of the Rear View Parking Guide Lines shows the distance of 0.5 m (1.6 ft.), 1 m (3.3 ft.) and 2.3 m (7.6 ft.) from the vehicle.

Parking Distance Warning

  • If 'Parking Distance Warning' is selected, the parking distance warning is displayed on the top view in the right side of the surround view monitor screen when Parking Distance Warning is activated.

  • The image will be displayed only when Parking Distance Warning is warning the driver.

Surround View Monitor Auto On

With the engine on, select 'Driver Assistance → Parking Safety → Surround View Monitor Auto On' from the cluster or infotainment system Settings menu to use the function.
