Emergency Braking

Emergency braking will alert the driver with the Forward Safety warning light ( ) blinking, a warning message, an audible warning and steering wheel vibration. The brake assist will be activated and to help avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle or powered two-wheeler.

Warning message: Emergency braking

Emergency braking will be activated in the following conditions.

  • Your driving speed: 10–30 km/h (6–19 mph)

  • Oncoming vehicle speed: Approximately 30–70 km/h (19–44 mph)

  • Powered two-wheeler or cyclist speed: Approximately 15–70 km/h (9– 44 mph)
