The wide angle-rear camera does not cover the complete area behind your vehicle. You should always check the rear area from the inside and the outside rear view mirror before parking or backing up.

Rear View Monitor may display objects at a different distance from what is shown on the screen due to the correction of the wide-rear view camera images. Also, rear parking guidelines are may not display properly, when the vehicle is tilted while cargo or other objects are placed in the luggage area. Make sure to directly check the vehicle's surroundings for safety.

Always keep the wide angle-rear camera lens clean. If the lens is covered with foreign material, it may adversely affect camera performance and Rear View Monitor may not operate properly. Do not use chemical solvents such as strong detergents containing high alkaline or volatile organic solvents (gasoline, acetone etc.). This may damage the camera lens.
