To temporarily pause Cruise Control

Cruise Control will be paused when:

  • Depressing the brake pedal.

  • Pressing the ( ) button.

  • Shifting the gear to N (Neutral).

  • Decreasing set speed to less than approximately 30 km/h (20 mph).

  • Increasing set speed to more than approximately 190 km/h (120 mph)

  • Operating the electronic parking brake system EPB.

  • ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is operating.

The set speed will turn off but the Cruise ( ) indicator will stay on.

If Cruise Control pauses during a situation that is not mentioned, have the vehicle be inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
