In traffic, your vehicle will stop if the vehicle ahead of you stops. If the vehicle ahead starts moving, your vehicle will start moving, as well.
After you have stopped your vehicle and a certain period of time has passed, a warning message appears on the instrument cluster. Engage the accelerator pedal or push the (
) switch, (
) switch, or (
) switch to start driving.
If Highway Driving Assist (HDA) is operating, the time during which the vehicle can automatically start moving again is extended by a certain amount.
If an in-cabin camera is equipped, the time during which the vehicle can automatically start moving again may be extended depending on whether the driver is looking forward.
If the driver is wearing sunglasses or the driver’s gaze cannot be detected, automatic restarting may not occur.
Unexpected situations may occur on the road during the time in which the vehicle can automatically restart, so always remain attentive.
