Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped and keep the clutch pedal (for manual transmission) and brake pedal depressed.

Shift the transmission into N (Neutral) whilst depressing the clutch pedal (for manual transmission) and brake pedal.

Engage the parking brake whilst depressing the brake pedal.

Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove it.
