Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) (Type B)
The Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) is provided to help prevent exiting the vehicle with a child left in the vehicle.
Simple operation

- The system turns on automatically when you start the vehicle. If you turn off the system from the settings menu in the infotainment system, it will remain off only for your current trip. The system will turn back on the next time you start the vehicle.

An indicator light appears on the instrument cluster when you deactivate the system.

The warning message appears when you open the driver's door after the vehicle has been driven.
This alert serves as a reminder, not as a result of sensor detection.
Warning delayed

Pressing the OK button on the steering wheel while the warning message is displayed delays the Initial Warning by 10 minutes.
Initial Warning
After the warning message, the system briefly activates the Initial Warning if it detects a child's presence inside the vehicle once all doors are closed and locked.
Escalation warning
If the system still detects a child's presence inside the vehicle after the Initial Warning, it activates the Escalation Warning for an extended period.
