High Beam Assist malfunction

The following warning message will appear on the LCD display.
For more details, refer to the warning and control section of the function.
- Check driver assistance system.
When High Beam Assist is not working properly, a warning message will appear and the Master warning light (
) will appear on the cluster. Have the function inspected by an authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
Warning message: Check driver assistance system.
If there is a malfunction with High Beam Assist, the high beam can be operated manually.
High Beam Assist disabled
High Beam Assist may be temporarily limited or not operate when performance of detecting sensor is reduced due to substances such as snow or rain on the windscreen in front of the front camera lens, or due to weather conditions such as fog or heavy rain. In this case, High Beam Assist enters standby mode, and the white High Beam Assist indicator ( 
) will appear on th cluster. If the high beam was turned on by High Beam Assist, it will turn off. The function will return to normal operation once the substances are removed.
You can check it in the service message of the utility information view of the cluster display window.
