Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) (Front Camera Only) (if equipped)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is designed to help detect and monitor a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist ahead in the roadway. It can warn the driver with a message and sound that a collision is imminent. It can also apply emergency braking. This is an aid. It will not detect all vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists under all conditions. The driver must still pay full attention and apply steering and braking as appropriate.
Detecting sensor
Refer to the picture above for the detailed location of the detecting sensor.

Never disassemble a detecting sensor or sensor assembly, or apply any impact on it.

If the detecting sensors have been replaced or repaired, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Never install any accessories or stickers on the front windshield near the camera, or tint the front windshield.

Keep the front view camera dry.

Never place any reflective objects (i.e. white paper, mirror) over the dashboard.
