Emergency trunk safety release

To unlock and open the trunk manually from inside the luggage compartment, follow these steps:

  1. Move the lever in the direction of the arrow.
  2. Push the trunk lid to open it.
    WARNING
    • In case of emergency, be fully aware of:

      • the location of the emergency trunk safety release latch in the vehicle

      • how to open the trunk if you are accidentally locked in the luggage compartment

    • No one, including animals, should be allowed to occupy the luggage compartment of the vehicle at any time. The luggage compartment is a very dangerous location in the event of an accident.

    • Use the release latch for emergencies only. Use extreme caution, especially while the vehicle is in motion.
