Replacing turn signal lamp and stop lamp (Rear combination lamp) (Type A) (Bulb type)

To replace the brake and tail light (Bulb type), follow these steps:
- Press the ENGINE START/STOP button in the OFF position and disconnect the battery’s negative (-) terminal.
- Open the trunk/liftgate.
- Open the service cover.

4 Door: After removing the nuts, pull out the lamp assembly.
5 Door: With the liftgate open, remove the flange cover and unscrew the retaining screws with a Phillips head screwdriver, then pull out the lamp assembly.
- Remove the rear combination lamp assembly from the body of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector.
- To remove the socket from the assembly, turn the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.
- Press the bulb in to the socket and rotate it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the socket. Then, remove the bulb from the socket.
- Insert a new bulb into the socket and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.
- To install the socket back into the assembly, align the tabs on the socket with the slots in the assembly, push the socket into the assembly, and turn the socket clockwise.

4 Door: Reinstall the lamp assembly to the vehicle body and tighten the nuts
securely.
5 Door: Reinstall the lamp assembly to the vehicle body and tighten the retaining screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Close the service cover.
