Ensure that the charging connector, cable, and CCS1 adapter do not obstruct pedestrians, other vehicles, or objects.
The use of the CCS1 adapter may affect or damage nearby electronic medical devices. Before using the CCS1 adapter, consult the manufacturer of the electronic medical devices to understand the potential impact.
Use the adapter only with chargers or vehicles that match its rated voltage and current. Using it with non-Kia products may cause safety issues such as charging interruptions, current or voltage overload, fire, burns, or high voltage exposure.
Do not insert fingers into the adapter.

CAUTION

The CCS1 adapter is designed solely for vehicle charging. Do not use it for any other purpose or with other vehicles or objects.
Do not use the CCS1 adapter if it is defective, cracked, worn, broken, damaged, or inoperable.
Do not open, disassemble, repair, modify, or tamper with the CCS1 adapter. The adapter is not user-serviceable.
Do not disconnect the CCS1 adapter or the charging connector while the vehicle is charging.
After charging is completed and before operating the vehicle, ensure that the CCS1 adapter has been properly disconnected.
Always protect the CCS1 adapter from moisture, water, and foreign objects. Do not use it if the adapter appears damaged or corroded.
Do not allow sharp metal objects such as wires, tools, or needles to come into contact with the terminals of the CCS1 adapter.
Do not damage the CCS1 adapter with sharp objects.
Do not insert any foreign objects into any part of the CCS1 adapter.
Do not use detergents to clean the CCS1 adapter.
Always connect the adapter to the charging connector first, then connect it to the vehicle. To disconnect, reverse the order.
