Renewing Plug n Charge (PnC)
If your Plug n Charge (PnC) auto-billing charge doesn't proceed or fails while charging is in progress, check your PnC contract certificate for expiration and renewal.
-
When the certificate expires, automatic billing recharge will not proceed.
-
Turn off the Plug n Charge (PnC) function and use an external payment method until the certificate status is verified. If automatic billing recharge fails 2 or more times, the 3rd recharge attempt is forcibly switched to an external payment method.
If your contract certificate for Plug n Charge (PnC) charging has expired or been revoked, proceed to the next step.
-
Sign a new contract to issue or renew a certificate.
-
After connecting the charging connector, try Plug n Charge charging once. The validity period and revocation status of the certificate are displayed on the charger, and charging fails.
-
Disconnect and reconnect the charging connector and try Plug n Charge charging again. The certificate of the newly concluded contract is installed and Plug n Charge charging proceeds normally.
When the payment method is automatically changed to an external payment method, proceed with one of the following steps to reset the Plug n Charge (PnC) function and use the automatic charge billing function.
-
Recharge your vehicle using an external payment method. From the next charge, you can use the Plug n Charge (PnC) automatic billing method again.
-
Disconnect the charging connector and close the charging door. Wait for at least approximately 1 minute with the vehicle in ON position Vehicle must be in READY mode. Afterwards, you can perform Plug n Charge (PnC) charging.
-
Plug n Charge (PnC) charging can be performed using other chargers that support the Plug n Charge (PnC) function.
