Reverse Parking Distance Warning activates when the gear is R (Reverse) position.

Reverse Parking Distance Warning assists the driver during reverse movement of the vehicle by chiming if any people, animal, or object is sensed when the vehicle speed is below 10 km/h (6 mph).

The rear and front side sensors warn the driver when moving backward when the vehicle speed is below 10 km/h (6 mph). However, the object must be within 60 cm (24 in) from the front-side sensors to operate.
