This system can be activated, when the following all prerequisites are satisfied.

• The ignition switch or ENGINE START/STOP button is in ON position.

• The vehicle is in P (Park) position.

• The vehicle stops.

• The vehicle speed is under 3 km/h (2 mph).

• The driver's seat belt is unfastened.

• The door is opened.

• The passenger's seat is not occupied.
