How to disconnect AC charger

  1. When charging is complete, remove the charging plug from the electrical outlet of the AC charging station.
  2. Hold the charging connector handle and pull it out whilst pushing the unlock button on the charging connector.

  3. Close the caps on the charging connector and charging plug to protect them from foreign substances.
  4. Completely close the charging door.
  5. If you use a personal charging connector, store it in the cable compartment.
    NOTE

    • If you cannot open the charging door due to freezing weather, lightly tap or remove any ice near the charging door. Do not try to open the charging door by force. Doing so might damage it.

    • Even though you can charge with the EV button in the START position, for your safety, start charging when the EV button is in the OFF position and the gear is shifted to P (Park). After you begin charging, you can use electrical components such as the radio by pressing the EV button in the POWER ON position.

    • Radio reception might be suboptimal during AC charging.

    • Whilst charging, you cannot shift the gear from P (Park) to any other gear.

    • Depending on the condition and durability of the high voltage battery, charger specifications, and ambient temperature, the time required for charging the battery might vary.
