With Automatic Transmission
  1. Decrease the vehicle speed to 0 km/h.
  2. Shift at D (Drive) / N (Neutral) position.
  3. Press the brake pedal.

The engine will stop and the green AUTO STOP ( ) indicator on the instrument cluster will appear.

NOTE

  • You must reach a speed of at least 5km/h (3 mph) since last idle stop.(With Manual Transmission)

  • You must reach a speed of at least 5km/h (3 mph) since last idle stop.(With Automatic Transmission)

If you open the engine hood in auto stop mode, the following will happen (With Automatic Transmission):

  • ISG system will deactivate (the light on ISG OFF button will appear).
