Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning)

You can set the parking distance warning to be ON at low speeds. To use Parking Distance Warning Auto On function, select Settings > Vehicle > Driver assistance > Parking safety > Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning) on the infotainment system.

CAUTION

If a Kia genuine part or function capable of detecting trailer connection is applied, the system may recognize the trailer as connected and some driver assistance functions may be limited. Please refer to the detailed information in Driver assistance system limitations, and always drive with caution.

NOTE

When Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning) is selected, the Parking Safety button indicator (2026 Kia Tasman Parking Safety button indicator icon. The icon features the letter 'P', curved signal waves, and a triangular cone. It indicates the activation status of the Parking Distance Warning system.) stays on.
