This system can be activated, when all of the following requirements are satisfied:

• The ENGINE START/STOP button is in ON position.

• Your Kia is stopped and in P (Park) position.

• The driver's seat belt is unfastened.

• The door is opened.

• The passenger's seat is not occupied.
