Approach to unlock
-
Select On door Unlock from the infotainment system to select Auto unlock .
-
Carry the smart key with you and the vehicle mirror will unfold automatically when the key is detected.
-
Operation is possible even when the vehicle is turned off, but excessive operation may drain the battery.
-
Be sure to use the fold button when folding or unfolding the DSM camera. If you fold or unfold it by hand, the motor may fail. Additionally, the DSM camera may make vibrations or noises while driving, indicating that the gears are not engaged correctly. In this case, engage the gears by folding and unfolding them again with the folding button.
-
When cleaning the DSM camera lens or monitor, do not spray the cleaner directly, but apply it with a soft towel or cloth. If you spray the cleaning agent directly on the DSM camera lens or monitor, the cleaning agent will seep into the lens or monitor and cause a malfunction.
-
Do not scrape the ice off the surface of the DSM camera lens. Doing so may damage the lens surface.
-
Do not remove snow or ice from the camera lens with warm or hot water. Cracks may form on the lens.
-
If the DSM camera is frozen and does not move, do not forcibly adjust or fold it. Remove the ice with an ice-removing spray or move to a warm place to thaw the ice.
For the safety of the driver, the DSM camera does not fold when driving at speeds of approximately 15 km/h (9 mph) or higher.
