Your electric vehicle has a high voltage battery that powers the motor and the air conditioner. The high voltage battery also charges a 12V battery that drives all 12V systems.

When the vehicle is in DRIVE READY mode or the high voltage battery is charging, the auxiliary battery automatically charges.
