Setting the power tailgate – for Wagon, Shooting Brake

The driver can select the power tailgate opening speed or height.

  • Power tailgate opening speed

To adjust the power tailgate opening speed, select 'User Settings (LCD display) or Settings →Vehicle (Infotainment System screen) → Door → Power Tailgate Opening Speed → Fast/Normal'.

  • Power tailgate opening height

To adjust the power tailgate opening height, select 'User Settings (LCD display) or Settings →Vehicle (Infotainment System screen) → Door → Power Tailgate Opening Height → Full Open/Level3/Level2/Level1/User Height Setting '.

If the 'User Height Setting' is selected, you can manually adjust the height of the power tailgate that you prefer regardless of the height options (Full Open/Level3/Level2/Level1) in the LCD display or Infotainment System screen. NOTE

  • If the power tailgate opening height is set manually, and then 'User Height Setting' is selected from the LCD display or Infotainment System screen, the power tailgate will automatically open to the height manually set by the driver.

  • If the power tailgate opening height has not been manually set, the power tailgate will fully open when ‘User Height Setting’ from the LCD display or Infotainment System screen is selected.

  • If one of the height (Full Open/Level3/Level2/Level1) is selected from the settings menu in the LCD display or Infotainment System screen, and then ‘User Height Setting’ is selected, the power tailgate open height will be set to the previously saved height.
