Emergency braking will alert the driver with the Forward Safety warning light blinking ( ), a warning message, steering wheel vibration and an audible warning. The brake assist will be activated and to help avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle.

Emergency braking will be activated in the following conditions.

  • Your driving speed: 10–30 km/h (6–19 mph)

  • Oncoming vehicle speed: Approximately 30–70 km/h (19–44mph)

  • Powered two-wheeler or cyclist speed: 15-70 km/h (9-44 mph)*

  • When the target enters the operating area of the function.
