Operation

  • After injecting the sealant, immediately drive the vehicle at speeds above approximately 20 km/h for about 10 minutes to ensure even distribution of the sealant.

WARNING
  • Do not leave your vehicle running in a poorly ventilated area for extended periods of time. Carbon monoxide poisoning and suffocation can occur.

  • If the tire pressure is below 26 psi(180 kPa), do not drive the vehicle. The tire may cause accident.

CAUTION
  • If the sealant injection hose is not fully connected to the tire valve, the sealant may flow back and block the valve.

  • For your safety, do not exceed a driving speed of approximately 80 km/h. If abnormal vibrations or noise occur during driving, reduce speed, park in a safe location, and Call for road side service or towing to an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.

  • When you use the Tire Mobility Kit, the wheel may be stained by sealant. Therefore, remove the wheel stained by sealant and have the vehicle inspected at a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.

  • Connecting the (+) terminal and (-) terminal the on wrong sides may cause damage to the 12V battery and the TMK. Connect the cables according to the specified order.

  • When disconnecting the cables, always disconnect the (-) terminal (black cable) from the battery first.

  • Do not connect another vehicle's Tire Mobility Kit (TMK) to the power outlet or battery terminal. The unmatched power requirement between the vehicle power outlet and the tire mobility kit can cause fire or circuit damage within the vehicle and the Tire Mobility Kit.
