To remove the headrest:

1. Recline the seatback with the recline lever or switch.

2. Push and hold the release button (1). Raise headrest as far as it can go.

3. Insert a short, flat object (such as a small flat-head screwdriver) into the opening on the inside base of the left post (2) and pull the headrest upward.
