Side air bag and front centre air bag
Your vehicle is equipped with a side air bag in each front (1) and front centre side air bag (2) in front driver side seat.
The purpose of the air bag is to provide the vehicle's driver and/or front passenger with protection in addition to that offered by the seat belt alone.

The actual air bags in the vehicle may differ from the illustration.
The side air bags and front centre side air bag are designed to deploy only during certain side-impact collisions, depending on the crash severity. The side air bags and driver's centre air bag are not designed to deploy in all side impact situations.
If the vehicle is equipped with the swiveling seats, the 2nd row seat side air bags will not be deployed when the second row seats are rotated.
