Make sure the high voltage battery is not low on the State of Charge (SOC) gauge.

Ensure that the vehicle is in P (Park). The vehicle can only be started in P (Park).

Check the 12V battery connections to ensure they are clean and securely tightened.

Turn on the interior light. If the light dims or goes out when starting the vehicle, the 12V battery may be discharged.
