Limitations
-
Vehicle load capacity is measured by weight, not volume. Therefore, you may not be able to use the entire available space in the vehicle or trailer when loading.
-
Certain vehicle functions may be limited while towing a trailer. Refer to each driver assistance system for specific feature limitations.
-
Vehicle performance may be reduced when driving in high-altitude areas, carrying heavy loads, or towing a trailer. To maintain perceived driving performance at elevation, reduce the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) by 2% for every 300 m (approximately 1,000 ft) of elevation.
-
Do not operate the vehicle in 4WD mode for extended periods when towing a trailer or carrying heavy loads.
