Indicator lights
The indicator light indicates whether the various functions are activated.
Ready indicator light (READY)
When the vehicle is ready to be driven.

On: Normal driving is possible.
-
Off: Normal driving is not possible, or a problem has occurred.
-
Blinking: You can drive in an emergency.
If the ready indicator goes off or blinks, there is a problem with the system. Have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
i-Pedal indicator light 
When i-Pedal is activated.
Smart regeneration system indicator light 
When smart regeneration system is activated.
Charging cable connection indicator light 
When the charging cable is connected.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) indicator light

When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
-
It appears for approximately 3 seconds and then goes off.

When there is a malfunction with the ESC system.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
While the ESC is operating.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) OFF indicator light

When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

It appears for approximately 3 seconds and then goes off.

When you deactivate the ESC system by pressing the ESCOFF button.

Immobilizer indicator light (with smart key) 
-
When the vehicle detects the smart key in the vehicle with the EV button in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

Once the smart key is detected, you can start the vehicle (READY indicator on).
-
The indicator light goes off after starting the vehicle (READY indicator on).
-

When the smart key is not in the vehicle.
-
You cannot start the vehicle.
-
-
If the smart key is in the vehicle and the EV button is on, but the vehicle cannot detect the smart key.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

When the battery of the smart key is weak.
-
When the immobilizer system is malfunctioning.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
Turn signal indicator light

When you turn the turn signal light on.
If any of the following occurs, there may a malfunction with the turn signal system.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

The indicator light appears but does not blink.
-
The indicator light blinks more rapidly.
-
The indicator light does not appear at all.
High beam indicator light 
-
When the headlights are on and in the high beam position.
-
When the turn signal switch is pulled into the Flash-to-Pass position.
High Beam Assist indicator light 
-
When High Beam Assist is activated.

Light on indicator light

When the taillights or headlights are on.
KEY OUT Indicator Light : (if equipped) 
When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position, if any door is open, the system checks for the smart key.
When the smart key is not in the vehicle and any door is open with the EV button in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

At this time, if you close all doors, the chime will also sound for approximately 5 seconds.

The indicator will go off while the vehicle is moving.
AUTO HOLD indicator light (AUTO HOLD)
-
White: When you activate the AUTO HOLD system by pressing the AUTO HOLD button.
-
Green: When you stop the vehicle completely by depressing the brake pedal with the AUTO HOLD system activated.
-
Yellow: When there is a malfunction with the AUTO HOLD system.
In this case, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Lane Safety indicator light

When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position. It appears for about 3 seconds and then goes off.

Gray when Lane Keeping Assist operating conditions are not satisfied.

Green when Lane Keeping Assist operating conditions are satisfied.
-
Yellow when Lane Safety is disabled or a malfunction is detected.
-
If the yellow warning light remains on after the sensor has been uncovered or unblocked when Lane Safety is set, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

This indicator light blinks:

Green: When Lane Keeping Assist is operating.

Lane Following Assist indicator light

When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position. It appears for about 3 seconds and then goes off.

Green: When Lane Following Assist is operating.

Gray: When Lane Following Assist operating conditions are not satisfied.
This indicator light blinks:

White: When the steering wheel assist is canceled.

Highway Lane Change Assist indicator light : (if equipped)

Green when Highway Lane Change Assist is ready to operate.

Gray when Highway Lane Change Assist is on standby.

Green when Highway Lane Change Assist is operating.

White when Highway Lane Change Assist is canceled.

Drive mode indicator light (ECO / NORMAL / SPORT / SNOW / MY)

When you select each mode as drive mode.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist indicator light : (if equipped)

When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position. It appears for about 3 seconds and then goes off.

Yellow when Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is OFF, disabled, or malfunctioning.

When the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system is ON, the indicator displays the speed limit. When the vehicle is speeding, the speed limit displays red.

Battery conditioning mode indicator light
