V2L has ended. Battery level has reached the set value

OCV075014N
  1. V2L has ended. Battery level has reached the set value

When the high voltage battery’s charge level reaches the set discharging limit, V2L stops operating and a warning message displays on the instrument cluster. If you want to use V2L, set the discharging limit lower than the high voltage battery’s current charge level.

V2L stopped due to excessive power use

OCV075015N
  1. V2L stopped due to excessive power use

If an electronic device exceeds the maximum power capacity the vehicle can supply, V2L stops operating and a warning message displays on the instrument cluster. Be sure that your electronic device’s total power consumption does not exceed the V2L maximum power output.

V2L conditions not met

OCV075016N
  1. V2L conditions not met

If V2L is interrupted for any of the following reasons, a this message is displayed.

  • The V2L connector turns OFF.

  • The V2L connector overheats.

  • The charging door opens while V2L’s inside power outlet is in use.

Ensure that there are no issues with the V2L connector or the inside outlet.

WARNING
  • Do not touch the V2L connector or the vehicle charging outlet.

  • Do not insert metal objects into the V2L connector or the charging outlet. This action might cause electric shock.

  • Do not touch the V2L connector, the charging outlet, or the power plug with wet hands. These actions might cause electric shock. Only handle the V2L connector, the charging outlet, and the power plug with dry hands.

  • Confirm whether there is foreign substance such as water or dust on the V2L connector, charging hole or power plug before connecting. If you connect it with foreign substances, it can cause a fire or electrical shock.

  • Modifying or disassembling the V2L connector increases the risk of a fire, electric shock, or injury.

  • Using V2L under the following conditions can cause injury:

    • The V2L connector, charging outlet, power plug, or charging cable is damaged, corroded, or rusted.

    • The connection is not secure.

  • Do not use an electrical appliance that is damaged or broken as it may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

  • Never use an electric heating appliance like an iron, coffee pot or toaster in the vehicle as it may cause a fire or injury.

CAUTION
  • To prevent accidents, thoroughly read your vehicle’s manual.

  • The V2L discharging mode is blocked automatically in case of overheating. (When the discharging mode is blocked, check whether the V2L connector or power plug is contaminated, worn, corroded or broken or the home appliance capacity is over 16 A. If the temperature falls to proper level after it is left unattended, you can use it again. Use proper home appliances.)

  • Do not modify or disassemble the V2L connector. The vehicle warranty does not cover failure caused by modifying or disassembling the V2L connector.

  • Avoid dropping or hitting the V2L connector.

  • Avoid placing objects on the V2L connector.

  • Always disconnect the V2L connector from the vehicle after using V2L.

  • When the high voltage battery’s charge level reaches the set discharging limit, V2L stops operating and a warning message displays on the instrument cluster. If you want to use V2L, set the discharging limit lower than the high voltage battery’s current charge level.

  • If you use V2L to charge more than one electronic device, do not exceed the maximum power capacity the vehicle can supply.

  • If an electronic device exceeds the maximum power capacity the vehicle can supply, V2L stops operating and a warning message displays on the instrument cluster. Be sure that your electronic device’s total power consumption does not exceed the V2L maximum power output.

  • Some of the electrical appliances may not operate normally even if the appliance has power consumption less than the maximum power capacity provided by the vehicle.

    • Electronic devices that require high power during their initial operation.

    • Measuring devices that must process accurate data.

    • Electronic devices that are sensitive to inverter-type AC power supply (DC power converted to AC power).

  • Do not use appliances that require a continuous power supply, such as medical equipment. Depending on the vehicle’s condition, the power supply might be interrupted.

  • Only use electronic devices under 16A.

  • Fully extend the power cord and use a compatible voltage plug. Worn, corroded, or incompatible plugs can cause malfunction.

  • Use a power plug with a ground connection.

  • Do not use high-power home appliances such as an air conditioner, washing machine, or dryer.

  • Do not hang anything on the power cord.

  • If you plug in more than one electronic device to the power outlet, only use products that have obtained national safety certification. Refer to the device’s manual for usage and precautions. (Electrical appliances, multi-outlets, cord extension cables, and so on.)

  • For electronic devices designed for outdoor use, use an appliance, a waterproof product, or use V2L in a waterproof environment. Do not use V2L with electronic devices, multi-outlets, or extension cords in environments with rain or high humidity.

  • Do not use V2L outside of the vehicle when there is a risk of lightning.

  • Do not connect multiple portable multi-outlets.

  • Do not use a twisted extension cord. Twisted extension cords might cause a fire.

  • When you use the vehicle’s outside V2L connector, V2L also supplies power to the vehicle’s inside power outlet. Unplug electronic devices that are not in use from the inside power outlet.

  • When using V2L, the cooling fan in the vehicle motor compartment can operate automatically even if the vehicle is turned OFF. Do not put your hands near the cooling fan when using V2L.

NOTE
  • Connect the V2L connector to the charging outlet within 60 seconds of opening the charging cover. To prevent theft after connecting, the V2L connector automatically locks to the charging outlet, and it is impossible to separate them.

  • When you use V2L, cancel the scheduled air conditioning setting. If scheduled air conditioning activates, V2L might not operate.

  • If you turn the vehicle OFF while using the inside V2L, V2L discharging mode turns off.

  • If your electronic device does not work when the green indicator light is illuminated, unplug your device and plug it back in.

  • V2L discharging mode automatically turns off when you open the charging cover or connect the V2L connector to the charging outlet. If you use inside and outside V2L at the same time, connect the inside V2L first.
