A: Emergency Braking

The Forward Safety warning light () blinking, warning message, an audible warning and the steering wheel vibration that emergency braking will be assisted. The brake assist will be activated and help avoid the collision with a vehicle, pedestrian, cyclist or powered two-wheeler.

Emergency Braking may be activated in the following conditions:

  • Your driving speed: Approximately 6–34 mph (10–55 km/h)

  • Crossing vehicle speed: Approximately 6–34 mph (10–55 km/h)
