Liftgate light
When an emergency situation such as a vehicle breakdown occurs, open the liftgate and activate it together with the hazard warning lights to alert surrounding vehicles to the emergency situation and help prevent secondary accidents.

When you open the liftgate, the lamp turns on.

When you close the liftgate, the lamp turns off.
CAUTION
Make sure that the liftgate is fully closed.
If the lamp remains on, it may cause 12 V battery discharge and liftgate damage.
