Replace the filter according to the Maintenance Schedule.

If you drive your vehicle in extremely dusty or sandy areas, replace the filter more often than the usual recommended intervals. (Refer to Scheduled maintenance service.)

NOTE
  • Do not drive with the air cleaner filter removed. This results in excessive engine wear.

  • When removing the air cleaner filter, make sure that dust or dirt does not enter the air intake, as this can cause damage.

  • Use genuine replacement parts from a Kia dealer.
