The seat warmer defaults off whenever the vehicle is in POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

Temperature control (manual)

  • Each time you press the buttons, the temperature setting of the seat will change as follows:

    • Front seat:

      OFF > High > Medium > Low > OFF

    • Rear seat:

      OFF > High > Medium > Low > OFF

Temperature control (automatic)

The seat warmer automatically controls the seat temperature to prevent low-temperature burns after being manually turned ON.

CAUTION
  • When cleaning the seats, do not use an organic solvent such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. It may damage the surface of the warmer or seats.

  • To prevent overheating the seat warmer, do not place anything on the seats that insulate against heat, such as blankets, cushions, or seat covers while the seat warmer is in operation.

  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on seats equipped with seat warmers. Damage to the seat warming components could occur.

  • Do not change the seat cover. It may damage the seat warmer or air ventilation system.

WARNING

Seat Warmer Burns

Passengers should use extreme caution when using seat warmers due to the possibility of excess heating causing burns. The seat warmer may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods of time. The driver must exercise extreme care for the following types of passengers:

  1. Infants, children, elderly, disabled persons, or hospital outpatients

  2. Persons with sensitive skin or those that burn easily

  3. Fatigued individuals

  4. Intoxicated individuals

  5. Individuals taking medication that can cause drowsiness or sleepiness (sleeping pills, cold tablets, and so on).

Last mode

This function retains the temperature setting of the driver’s seat warmer and ventilated seat even after the vehicle is turned off and restarted.

For example, if the driver’s seat warmer was set to Level 3 (High) before the vehicle was turned off, it will automatically resume at Level 3 (High) when the vehicle is restarted.

Only the temperature settings of the driver’s seat warmer and ventilated seat are retained.

  • Select Setup > Vehicle > Seats > Save Driver's Seat Warmer/Ventilation Settings from the infotainment system.

  • Settings that are adjusted automatically will either not be saved or will revert to the state before the change.

    • If the seat warmer temperature level is lowered due to automatic adjustment and the vehicle is turned off, the system will save the level set before the automatic adjustment.

    • When the Smart Temperature Comfort Control system (driver’s seat) is activated, the temperature level will not be saved. For more information, refer to Smart temperature comfort control system (for driver’s seat).
