Emergency Stop Signal (ESS)
Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) alerts the driver behind by flashing the brake lights when braking sharply and severely.
Operating condition(s)

The vehicle suddenly stops.

ABS is activated and the driving speed is over 55 km/h (34 mph).

The hazard warning flasher automatically turns on after blinking the brake lights when the driving speed is under 40 km/h (25 mph)

ABS is deactivated
-
The sudden braking is over

The hazard warning flasher turns off when the vehicle drives at a low speed for a certain period of time.
NOTE
ESS will not activate when the hazard warning flashers are already on.
