Operating conditions

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control operates when all the following conditions are met:

  • Auto Highway Speed Change is enabled in the infotainment system settings

  • Smart Cruise Control is operating

  • Driving on main roads of highways (or motorways)

  • A control zone (e.g., curve section) is detected ahead

  • The set speed of Smart Cruise Control is higher than the recommended safe speed

However, if the vehicle is within a speed enforcement section, the system can operate regardless of the set speed.
