Operating conditions
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control operates when all the following conditions are met:

Auto Highway Speed Change is enabled in the infotainment system settings

Smart Cruise Control is operating

Driving on main roads of highways (or motorways)

A control zone (e.g., curve section) is detected ahead

The set speed of Smart Cruise Control is higher than the recommended safe speed
However, if the vehicle is within a speed enforcement section, the system can operate regardless of the set speed.
