Disconnecting the AC charger

  1. Hold the charging connector handle and pull it out (2) while pushing the unlock button (1) on the charging connector.

  2. Close the caps on the charging connector and charging plug to protect them from foreign substances.

  3. Completely close the charging door.

  4. If you use a personal charging connector, store it in the cable compartment.

NOTE

  • If you cannot open the charging door due to freezing weather, lightly tap or remove any ice near the charging door. Do not try to open the charging door by force. Doing so might damage it.

  • Even though charging is possible with the EV button in the start position, for you safety, start charging when the EV button is in the off position and the vehicle shifted to P (Park). After charging has started, you can use electrical components such as the radio by pressing the EV button to the acc or on position.

  • Radio reception might be suboptimal during AC charging.

  • While charging, you cannot shift the gear from P (Park) to any other gear.

  • Depending on the condition and durability of the high voltage battery, charger specifications, and ambient temperature, the time required for charging the battery might vary.

  • During charging, the quality of radio reception may degrade in some areas.
