  1. To adjust the seatback angle, pull up the integrated lever.

  2. Whilst holding the lever, adjust the seatback to the desired position.

  3. Release the lever and make sure the seatback is securely locked in place. (The lever must return to its original position for the seatback to lock.)

  4. After operating the integrated lever, check that the seat is securely locked in place.

Folding/unfolding the rear seat cushion

OSWC066032L
  1. To fold the seatback angle, pull the integrated lever once.

The seat cushion folds to allow adjustment of the seatback and forward/backward movement of the seat.

  2. When the passenger needs to be seated, lower the seat cushion until a “click” sound is heard.

  3. After operating the integrated lever, make sure the seat is securely locked and does not move forward or backward.

WARNING
  • To load light luggage in the rear seat footwell, lift the seat cushion. Wiring is located on the left side of the vehicle floor, so take care not to damage the wiring when loading or unloading luggage.

Ensure that the seat cushion is securely fixed before driving, as it may move unexpectedly during sudden braking or a collision, increasing the risk of injury.

  • When returning the seatback to the upright position, hold it firmly and raise it slowly. If released, the seatback may spring forward and strike an occupant, causing injury.

  • After adjusting the seatback, lower the seat cushion and ensure it is securely locked, and confirm that the seat is firmly secured on the slide rails before driving. Driving with an unsecured cushion or seat may reduce occupant protection in a crash.

CAUTION

Do not operate the integrated lever after loading cargo when the second-row seat cushion is in the lowered position. If cargo is loaded toward the rear seat, operating the lever may cause the seat to move forward or backward due to the cargo load.

NOTE

When returning the rear seatbacks to the upright position, ensure the rear shoulder belts are in their proper position. Position the shoulder belts properly to prevent the belts from becoming trapped behind, under, or at the lower edge of the seats.
