Deleting fingerprint

  1. Select Setup > User Profile > Driver 1 ( > or Driver 2) > Fingerprint Identification > Set/Delete Fingerprint > Delete in the infotainment system screen.

  2. Delete the enrolled fingerprint according to the message “Delete all Driver 1 (or Driver 2) fingerprints? ”

  3. When the fingerprint is deleted, the status displays on the infotainment system screen.

NOTE

  • The sensor does not operate if there are not any fingerprints enrolled in the infotainment system.

  • You can enroll a maximum of 2 fingerprints (Driver 1 and Driver 2).

  • Before you enroll your fingerprint, clean the sensor and remove all substances, including the protection film.

  • The fingerprint enrollment process stops under the following conditions:

    • You alter the infotainment system screen.

    • The vehicle turns on or off.

    • You shift the gear and drive the vehicle.

CAUTION

Do not duplicate your fingerprint with anyone.

NOTE

Touch the fingerprint authentication sensor gently. Fingerprint authentication attempts with excessive force might fail.
