Lighting control
The lighting control switch has a headlight and a position lamp position.

To operate the lights, rotate the knob at the end of the control lever to one of the following positions:

OFF position
-
Auto light position
-
Position & Tail lamp
-
Headlight position
Position & Tail lamp

When the light switch is in the position lamp (
) position, the following lights turn on:
-
Front position lamps and auxiliary lamps (if equipped)
-
Tail lamps
-
License plate lamps
Auxiliary lamp will be ON only in position lamp (
) condition.
Headlight (Low Beam)

When the light switch is in the head light (
) position, the following lights turn on:
-
Headlights (low beam)
-
Tail lamps
-
License plate lamps

The vehicle must be in the POWER ON position or the DRIVE READY indicator must be on to turn on the headlights.

Even when the light switch is in the OFF position, the headlights (low beam) automatically turn on when driving at night or in low ambient light. These headlights cannot be turned off manually.

The position and tail lamps automatically turn on regardless of the light switch position. However, they can be turned off by engaging the parking brake and turning the light switch to the OFF position.

When the light switch is in the AUTO position, the headlights and taillights automatically turn on or off depending on the surrounding light conditions.

Never place any objects over the sensor (1) located on the instrument panel. Doing so may affect proper operation of the auto light system.

Do not clean the sensor with a window cleaner, as it may leave a light film that could interfere with sensor performance.

If the front windscreen is equipped with window tint or a metallic coating, the auto light system may not operate properly.
